The Real Brokerage Inc. has announced Real Young Professionals (RYP), a division focused on professional development and connections among real estate professionals, according to Direct Selling News. The division is launching with 95 founding members across more than 25 markets, and the company plans to officially kick off the program at its annual conference in Las Vegas.

Shaylie Fraser will lead the division as its director. According to Direct Selling News, Fraser previously led a young professionals organization at another brokerage. Jana Pierce, a co-founder of the Qamar Group in suburban Chicago, will serve as Assistant Director of RYP.

Despite its name, RYP is open to professionals of all ages, according to the report. The company describes its intended participants as people interested in collaboration, professional growth and using technology, including artificial intelligence, to develop their businesses. Founding membership will be capped at 250 professionals.

The reported benefits for founding members include free or discounted admission to RYP events, access to recordings of monthly Zoom masterminds, participation in the RYP referral network and leadership opportunities. Founding members will also be able to help shape the community through education, networking and leadership initiatives. According to the report, programming will change in response to members’ interests and needs.

The company’s stated rationale centers on building a professional community alongside its technology and business platform. Pierce described connections, shared ideas and peer learning as potential supports for careers and for attracting and retaining professionals. Jason Cassity, Real Chief Growth Officer, presented RYP as an extension of the company’s view that agents are entrepreneurs who benefit from access to technology, a platform and a community. These are the participants’ stated objectives, rather than reported results from the new division.

The next planned step is the conference kickoff in Las Vegas, where the company will host a dedicated networking event for members, according to Direct Selling News. The report says the group’s continuing focus will be collaboration, knowledge-sharing and professional relationships as its programming develops.
