The Monterrey center follows an office opening in Puebla last month and another in Mexico City earlier this year, according to the report. Its stated purpose is to strengthen One More International’s presence in northern Mexico, with infrastructure, resources and meeting rooms for the region’s community of entrepreneurs.

According to Direct Selling News, the company expects Monterrey to serve as a strategic hub for its nationwide expansion. Q.FB. Manuel Ramírez, General Director for North America, described the center as supporting the company’s development in northern Mexico and along the US border. The company also sees Monterrey’s location as enabling interaction between entrepreneurs in Mexico and the US; these are stated objectives rather than reported outcomes.

For the direct-selling industry, the development concerns local business-support infrastructure and potential connections between the two markets. Direct Selling News reports that One More International expects additional locations across central, southeastern, western and northern Mexico to open throughout the year as it builds a network of business development centers. The report does not identify the next cities or provide individual opening schedules.
